These pictures represent my time out exploring the world through the lens of my camera. Trying out new techniques, playing with the kids and grabbing a fun moment, or just messing around one lazy afternoon. Whatever your passion, I believe that you should have fun with it.
The planes in this series were a real treat to capture. It was a warm fall afternoon in Miramar San Diego and the Blue Angels were doing so spectacular aerial tricks, showing off some amazing skills. I, on the other hand, was brand new to my camera and had no idea when I was taking pictures of the planes, that they would come out this well. They certainly weren’t easy to track thru the eyepiece of my camera but I was so excited to capture the F-22 and F-18 breaking the sound barrier.
The moon picture in this serious was taken 2 years ago during the Blood Moon. I was able to grab this shot using my telescope and a iphone camera. Yah, you read that right. So imagine my surprise when one shot, out of many, turned out artistically. This was my first time using my telescope in such a way and I have since found an attachment for my camera. I look forward to sharing many more Pacific Northwest moon pictures with you.
